Brow Lift ( Browpexy)
A Browpexy, often referred to as a brow lift, is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to elevate or reshape the eyebrows. This procedure addresses drooping brows, which can cause an unintentionally tired or grumpy expression.
There are two primary Browpexy techniques :
Internal Browpexy : Performed during an upper blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), this technique utilises an incision hidden within the upper eyelid. Sutures then precisely lift and secure the brow tissues to the underlying supportive bone structure.
External Browpexy : This approach involves a small incision made strategically above the eyebrow. The brow tissue is meticulously lifted and secured to the underlying fascia or muscle layer using sutures.
