About BodyJet Liposuction Treatment

BodyJet liposuction, also known as BodyJet water-assisted liposuction (WAL), uses high-pressure water jets to gently break down and remove stubborn fat deposits.

Unlike traditional liposuction, BodyJet has many advantages, including being able to treat small resistant fat areas that may not respond to traditional techniques.

Thus, it’s a perfect choice for someone with optimum weight but who would like to refine their body shape more significantly. BodyJet can offer this option without more invasive procedures; it is specific and less intensive.

The process uses gentle water pressure combined with suction through a special cannula. Water loosens fat from surrounding tissues so that it can be removed easily, leaving surrounding tissues intact for a safer, smoother result.

BodyJet Liposuction Treatment Procedure

BodyJet liposuction uses a unique water-assisted technique to gently loosen and remove unwanted fat. During the procedure, a fine cannula is inserted into the targeted area. A pressurised jet of water is then used to dislodge fat cells from the surrounding tissues without causing significant damage. This method makes it easier to suction out the fat while preserving nearby structures like blood vessels and nerves, ensuring a safer and more comfortable experience for the patient.

The precision of the water jet allows for accurate fat removal, which makes it ideal for sculpting and contouring specific areas. In some cases, the removed fat can also be purified & transferred to other parts of the body for enhancement, such as the face or buttocks, offering additional benefits from a single procedure.

Since the procedure causes minimal damage to surrounding tissues, there is less tenderness, swelling, and bruising. Most people can return to their usual activities within a few days. There may be ongoing swelling for up to 2 weeks and the full effect of the treatment can take three to six months to see.. The results are typically smoother, with fewer imperfections like dimpling, which can sometimes occur with traditional liposuction. BodyJet is often combined with other skin tightening platforms like BodyTite Radiofrequency or laser skin tightening to achieve the optimum outcome. This can be discussed in consultation.

The results of BodyJet liposuction are long-lasting, as the fat cells removed during the procedure do not grow back. However, maintaining results depends on leading a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and a balanced diet.

FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions about BodyJet Liposuction Treatment

Liposuction can be safely performed as a same-day procedure when done by a skilled plastic surgeon in an accredited facility. Proper patient selection and thorough preoperative exams, including blood tests, are key to ensuring safety. There are always risks with any surgical procedure but the infiltration of anaesthetic, minimal access points, use of sterile equipment and the inbuilt safety features of the BodyJet system make it a very popular and safe procedure internationally.

BodyJet liposuction uses a water stream to loosen fat before removing it, making it less invasive than traditional methods. This technique often leads to less bruising, less swelling, faster recovery, and more precise fat removal. After healing has occurred, you will have less superficial fat in the area treated which means a more slim appearance and less bulk in the area treated.

Liposuction isn’t painful during the procedure because local anaesthesia is used. However, you may feel some soreness, tenderness, or mild pain in the days following the surgery.

Yes, fat cells are removed permanently from targeted areas by liposuction. While the fat won’t return in those areas, weight gain could still occur in other parts of the body after the procedure. Therefore, it is very essential to maintain a healthy life for the results.

Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty, also known as an eye lift, is a surgical procedure performed on the eyelids to improve their appearance. It can address concerns like:

  • Excess skin on the upper eyelids: This can obstruct vision and create a hooded appearance.

  • Bags under the lower eyelids: These can make you look tired or aged.

  • Drooping lower eyelids: This can also obstruct vision and contribute to a tired appearance.

Types of Blepharoplasty:

  • Upper blepharoplasty: This addresses concerns with the upper eyelids, removing excess skin and sometimes fat or muscle tissue.

  • Lower blepharoplasty: This addresses concerns with the lower eyelids, removing excess fat or skin and sometimes repositioning tissues.

  • Asian blepharoplasty: This addresses specific concerns related to the anatomy of Asian eyelids, creating a more defined crease.
